The Foundation
The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) was established in 1985 by notable figures Robert Edwards and Jean Cohen. Coincidentally, this year marked the inaugural ESHRE meeting, which was convened in Bonn. Since that time, these annual meetings have continued to occur, facilitating collaboration among medical professionals aimed at enhancing human reproductive health. ESHRE is committed to the advancement and maintenance of healthy reproductive practices. The society concentrates its efforts on the improvement of pregnancy outcomes, human reproduction, andrology, embryology, reproductive medicine, and reproductive surgery.
